The end of this year couldn't go by any slower! I've had a very productive year, but I am ready for it to be over already. Is there anything anyone wants to share with me about 2009 before it's officially over? Any crazy stories to tell me and the rest of the world? I'm dying to know your business!!!
So have you ever noticed that things which are made with LOVE are usually the MOST fattening? Don't get me wrong, I LOVE TO EAT it, but it always goes straight to my LOVE HANDLES! Haha. What I've come to realize is... LOVE equals CALORIES! This isn't a bad thing, this is just my opinion and my observation. Whenever I'm in a relationship, my guy LOVES takes me out to eat... once again LOVE EQUALS CALORIES... Whenever I'm single, I am in the best shape of my life, and I'm sure many of you can agree, unless you and your partner are into working out together, but generally love usually leads to calories.
Maybe instead of eating things that are loaded with carbs and calories when we are in love we can eat things that are a little healthier, such as fruit, or veggies. Or instead of going out to eat as a source of entertainment we can go for a walk, or for a swim. Any kind of physical activity (including SEX) is a much better way of showing love that loading up on the calories.
It's tough to pass up a nice dinner, or in my case DESSERT, because I have a major sweet tooth, but it does feel good when I can make a healthier choice. Maybe instead of ice cream (which by the way, I love more than anything else) try substituting for frozen yogurt with a fresh fruit topping. Or instead of huge plate of ribs for two, you and your partner can each get a salad with grilled chicken. There's a lot of things we can do to keep the calories down. Now is the time, since Christmas is over, to start making the right choices. That way we can keep the love handles to a minimum! :)
Today is December 24th, and it's Christmas Eve. Just wanted to take a couple minutes to wish everyone a Happy Holiday this year! Whether you are spending the holiday with your family, friends, or alone, I hope that you can enjoy your holiday and relax. This is one of my favorite times of the year because it always seems like a great time to be lazy! haha. I love the last couple weeks of the year for that reason.
To those of you who may be working this Christmas, my thoughts are also with you. I know its a bummer sometimes to work on holidays .
I'm going to keep this short and sweet, Merry Christmas everyone! :-)
Okay everyone! I'm really looking for your feedback here. I want to know what your favorite movies of 2009 are. This year has been an interesting year for movies. I think that since movies have been around so long, there's a lot of ideas that have already been done. As far as horror flicks, we are becoming more desensitized and horror movies just keep getting more graphic and disgusting. Technology keeps getting more and more advanced, the movies that are made today are tough to top.
My favorite movies of 2009
#1. Taken
#2. The Hangover
#3. The Proposal
#4. Law Abiding Citizen
#5. The Ugly Truth
Okay, now that I've showed you mine, time to show me yours! hehe! (FAVORITE MOVIES THAT IS!)
What the fuck is up with 2009??? Such a shame that so many celebrities lost their lives this year. I realize that people die everyday... and that their lives do not have more significance than ours, but it is a shame when someone who's work we admire and appreciate passes away. We may not know them personally, and they do not know us, it feels like we know them because we may have grown up watching them on TV or on the big screen.
This year, 2009, we lost Farrah Fawcett, Patrick Swayze, Michael Jackson, DJ AM, Bernie Mac, Ed Mcmahon, Natasha Richardson, Wayman Tisdalem, David Carradine, Bea Arthur, Ted Kennedy, Isaac Hayes, Billy Mays, and Brittany Murphy. If there's anyone I'm forgetting, I'm sorry! :( I would like to take a moment to pay my respects.
